Call for Presentations

The National Association of Shell Marketers is seeking presentations for our upcoming conference. Join experts across the fuel industry to explore trends, challenges, and innovations. We invite dynamic speakers to share insights and engage with our audience of Shell-branded wholesale marketers on relevant topics.

Date: September 11-13, 2024
Location: The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa, Houston, TX
Submission Deadline: May 31, 2024

Proposals will be accepted until May 31, 2024 and will be reviewed by NASM staff and the leadership of NASM’s Board of Directors.  If multiple companies submit proposals on similar topics, a panel of speakers may be formed to provide a variety of information to participants.

Presentation Topics
We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

• The future of the fuel industry
• Innovation in technology, marketing, or customer experience at c-stores
• Economic trends and their impact on the fuel industry
• Legislative and public policy trends

Presentations should be innovative, thought-provoking, and relevant. They can cover case studies, research, best practices, policy analysis, and future outlooks.

Submission Guidelines

1. Submit an abstract of no more than 50 words, summarizing the presentation proposal.
2. Include a brief professional biography highlighting your experience and qualifications related to the topic of your presentation.
3. Indicate the preferred format of your presentation (e.g., workshop, panel discussion, keynote, etc.).
4. Presentations are typically 45-60 minutes long, including a Q&A session.
5. All submissions and presentations must be in English, unless otherwise noted.

NASM’s Non-Commercial Policy: NASM attendees value educational content and are sensitive to sessions with a commercial focus. Presentations must prioritize educational material, allowing a brief mention of company and contact information only at the session’s conclusion.
